PocketSmith.com is a web-based budgeting and cashflow forecasting application used by more than 10,000 people in over 95 countries. PocketSmith makes complex financial tasks simple through a calendar interface and visualizations, allowing users to see their budgets in a relevant and understandable format.
We are currently looking for a personal finance blogger/writer to help develop content and build exposure for our new Personal Finance blog and build excitement around our budgeting tool.
The ideal blogger/writer should:
* Be interested in personal finance and money management (deep experience/expertise not necessary, curiosity and diligence is more important)
* Have a good understanding of personal finance related topics and be able to relay those ideas clearly and creatively in writing
* Be able to effectively utilize social media sites and tools like Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Tip'd, etc.
The blogger is expected to write 2 articles per week (500 words each) and for the most part will have the freedom to explore any areas of interest in personal finance such as Budgeting, Savings, Debt management, Frugality, Retirement, Tips and other personal finance related topics.
The content has to be informative and clearly reflects the passion of the writer! All posts need to be quality, completely original and have an international focus. Once accepted and published, articles belong to PocketSmith and cannot be posted elsewhere.
This will be an ongoing job - starting base rate is $15 per article with potential for higher rates depending on growth of the blog and quality of writing. Monthly payment through PayPal. Blogger can work remotely.
