Skincare and Beauty Blogger (Long-Term, Ongoing Work)
Hello! I operate a small but mighty eponymous boutique agency serving beauty brands. In short, we provide writing for skincare and cosmetics companies.
I am looking for a talented English-fluent writer who can help my agency provide content for our clients.
Right now, our most pressing need is for SKINCARE content. If you already have preexisting knowledge of skincare, such as ingredients, this is the job for you!
People tend to think "blog" and think a super-basic blog post with some Google research will suffice, but the articles we provide our client are thoughtfully researched (when needed) and written with an on-brand voice. Not all articles will require research (e.g. blog posts about a company's products), but they still need to be presented professionally and flawlessly.
With that said, I am looking for someone with previous proven experience writing for skincare, cosmetics, beauty and health -- particularly skincare, as that is our main focus right now.
-- Able to write easy-to-digest, yet authoritative blog posts that stand out from the crowd
-- Understand the trigger key words in beauty/health
-- Excellent researcher (you know which sites are considered legitimate/valid sources - you would use PubMed, not Livestrong.com to find information)
-- Able to back up statements in articles with valid research
-- Perfect grammar and punctuation!
-- Ideally, I'd want you to have preexisting knowledge on skincare because if you do, it should only take 30-45 minutes to complete a blog post. If you are able to complete each article in this time frame, then you'll get batches of articles assigned to you every month over the long term!
COMPENSATION: YOU tell us your per-article rate! We pay monthly via PayPal upon receipt of invoice.
TO APPLY (please send our amazing assistant ALL 4 items) to the email address below:
1) Please send me 2 links to beauty/health articles you're most proud of!
2) Please send your resume.
3) Please briefly tell me what your favorite skincare product is and why!
4) Please send me your hourly rate + how long it takes you to write a blog post around 500 words with light to moderate research (such as "Why Your Skin Needs Vitamin C" -- to my point, if you are skincare knowledgable, you should be able to list all the reasons why, including what free radicals, antioxidants, and the basic types of Vitamin C are).
