Scripto makes the collaborative TV writing and production software that some of your favorite shows (http://scripto.cc/) rely on every day.
As we expand our client base and begin new experiments, we're looking for a rapid prototyper with design sense, who can also write production-ready functional code.
We value experience with react, node.js, and html/css, plus enthusiasm for learning and addressing the tapestry of challenges facing people who make television. Even if you don't check all the boxes, we hope you'll see this as a growth opportunity. We strongly value diversity and believe in hiring inclusively.
This is a full-time position with flexible hours, health and dental benefits, and no location requirements. You'll work with great people who have lives outside the job and lots of oddball side projects.
To apply, please send a resume and cover letter to the email address below. We can't wait to hear from you!
Scripto began in the early 2010s at the Colbert Report, when writer (and CEO) Rob Dubbin (https://twitter.com/robdubbin) thought there should be a better way for the dozens of people who made the show every day to collaborate. It is now a thriving enterprise product whose clients have won the last five consecutive Emmys for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy/Variety Series (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primetime_Emmy_Award_for_Outstanding_Writing_for_a_Variety_Series). We're a proudly distributed company, our employees are leaders in their professional communities, and our culture emphasizes learning on the job and growing into new challenges. We look forward to hearing from you!
