As a Director Services Sales, you will be responsible for representing Aptos Professional Services (PS) during the sales cycle for new opportunities with prospective clients. You will sell Aptos solutions and related services to prospective clients and participate with Executives in strategic account planning sessions, territory reviews, and deal specific account strategy calls to identify how PS can increase Aptos' competitive position by being a differentiator in the sales cycle. Once deals are qualified, and building on prior information discovery sessions, conduct onsite scoping sessions with C-level executives and their direct reports to identify and recommend implementation scope, including phasing and pricing.

Are you the person we're looking for?
Master of the retail space best practices. Let's cut to the chase: This is a must, the #1 indicator of success in this role, Knowledge of the Retail Software landscape from an end-to-end omni-channel perspective. You know the ins and outs of retail operations and can confidently and intelligently identify solutions to meet our customers' needs.
Good understanding of Aptos Services. If mastering of the retail best practices is the #1 indicator of success in this role, having a good understanding of Aptos Services solutions is a close second. If you don't already have it and you only have other Retail software experience, you'll have to learn ours fast to deliver value messaging to prospective and existing customers regarding Aptos Professional Services solutions, and providing our customers with solutions and experiences that deliver value for years to come.
Proven success in selling consulting services. You have In depth knowledge of selling strategies, development of proposals, contracts, close plans and statements of work for professional services, and a good track record in supporting the Sales group in prospecting, converting prospects to customers, whitespace knowledge/analysis, pipeline development and quota attainment in a software environment. You've also demonstrated your ability to consistently exceed annual quotas.
Strong business analysis, solution crafting, interaction management, and presentation skills. You have demonstrated competencies in Conducting scoping sessions to recommend project scope, price and phasing, Developing and delivering value focused / results oriented PS proposals, configurations plans and SOW's, assisting Sales team responding to prospective client requests for proposals (RFPs)
Outstanding written and oral communication skills. You have superior ability to liaise between the user community, Executive sponsors and the Aptos team. Your confidence stems from your experience and knowledge -- you not only keep up with C-level discussions, you effectively influence them. When you speak you are clear and concise. Your strong listening skills foster connection with your audience.
Expert relationship cultivator. You have a genuine interest in connecting -- not just staying in touch. It's not phony. It's not a chore. It's a sincere interest in learning more about an individual, team or organization -- and engaging effectively in regular dialogue to build and strengthen the relationships.
