Title: Senior/Lead Front-End Javascript Engineer (AngularJS)
Date Posted: 2017-03-15
Location: Not mentioned
Description:
We like to build stuff... sometimes complicated stuff... for Art Galleries, Non-Profits and Charities.

We're an innovative bootstrapped startup based in London in the UK. We've grown to over 30 staff in the past 2 years based solely on the quality of the work we've been producing for our clients and we're on the lookout for a talented Senior/Lead Front End Javascript Engineer (Angular JS) to join our team.

We do things a little differently, basing all our solutions on open source products, having flexible working hours and a real team mentality. Our work covers web design, app development and branding for Charities, Art Galleries and Non-profit organisations across the country. Our clients include Charities such as Wikimedia, Amnesty and Farm Africa, galleries such as the Photographers Gallery and Craft Central but we've got a long client list that includes other companies, trade associations and government bodies.

Your principle focus will be on developing Angular JS single page applications as part of the CiviCRM and Drupal frameworks for the CiviHR project (https://civihr.org) but there's a lot going on at Compucorp so expect to be exposed to other technologies too!

CiviHR is an ambitious project to develop a fully featured HR application designed for Non-Profit and Charitable organisations worldwide. It's based on the Drupal and CiviCRM frameworks and has been in development for around 24 months. We recently reached an exciting milestone and opened up for public beta.

We're looking for someone who can join a great team in mid-flight, have instant results and can help us to create a great product for Charities around the world.

Skills & Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

- Expert Angular JS 1 experience
- Expert Javascript experience
- Expert JS Unit testing (Karma / Protractor)
- Comfortable with CSS (Gulp / SASS / LESS)
- Git experience (You know your submodules from your subtrees!)
- Confidence in a PHP based environment
- Confidence in a Linux based environment
- Previous exposure to Drupal (especially Drupal 7) a plus

What were looking for is someone who can grasp concepts quickly, has great attention to detail, and most importantly loves a tech challenge. In short, we're a team of self-confessed geeks who love tinkering and tweaking until something is just right and are looking for someone who thinks and acts like us.
