The Systems Engineering group is looking to expand its EMEA Sales organization to continue to maintain this rapid growth.

Our Systems Engineers wear many hats, including: sales opportunity manager, product demo master, pre-sales consultant, and act as a communication conduit between engineering, product management, and customers/prospects.

We're looking to hire a motivated, collaborative, and ambitious Senior Systems Engineer to drive opportunities and customer engagements. This role is primarily to support our UK Enterprise sales team. You will be working in a small team who are focused on the largest companies in the UK.

You will be responsible for...

- Working with Sales Teams to assist in driving revenue and quota retainment
- Conducting product demonstrations to new prospects
- Acting as a dedicated technical resource for assigned sales region
- Conducting proof of concepts in prospect environments
- Gathering technical requirements and prove that Turbonomic solves prospects' challenges
- Building technical documentation and presentations highlighting proof of concept results
- Addressing pre-sales technical questions
- Meeting weekly with engineering, support, and product management to provide feedback
- Attending and participate in our quarterly technology reviews with engineering, usually held in New York

To be successful in this position you need to have...

- Extensive experience in data center infrastructure, virtualization, cloud computing, or related field in a sales engineering of consulting capacity
- Experience meeting with sales prospects in person and delivering complex content
- Highly motivated, competitive, and passionate team player who is driven to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, and high activity environment
- Strong affinity for customer relationship management and requirements gathering
- Understanding of the virtualization management competitive landscape, and technical features of competing products within the ecosystem
- Astute in presenting to and conversing with customers; ability to deliver technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Deep understanding of data center interdependencies around the virtualization layer, including: storage, security, network infrastructure, applications
