The Adaptavist sales team supports the business by developing and executing all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans in order to help meet ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Sales Account Managers are responsible for generating business opportunities through selling the full range of available products and services to organisations throughout their territories. The Sales Account Managers are responsible for generating incremental business within key, named "House Accounts". House Accounts are new business accounts that have reached a certain level of maturity to the extent that an Adaptavist new business lead is not needed. The Sales Account Managers may also be responsible for generating New Name New Business, but by exception.

In arguably what is most the important part of any business - getting products off the shelves and into the hands of buyers. - the main purpose of this role is to meet and exceed your sales targets in a way that enhances the reputation of Adaptavist and establishes the potential for building long term business relationships with new clients.

- Maintaining relationships, and developing new ones, with existing clients
- Account Planning and Exploration of new opportunities within key named House Accounts
- Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets and within specified House Accounts
- Maximising new projects and revenue from existing House Accounts
- Accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts across the named House Accounts
- Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
- Negotiating contracts with clients, working with a commercial team
- Qualify all suspects generated from lead generation activities with House Accounts using the current qualification methodology and document the process for each suspect within the Company's CRM system.
- Organise meetings with key staff within the House Accounts in conjunction with the appropriate internal stakeholders with the objective of understanding the client's requirements and securing a sale in line with any established sales processes.
- Conduct presentations, prepare proposals as required and manage the negotiation process with a prospect ensuring that director level approval is secured for all deals, working with our team of consultants and Sales Ops team.
- Lead all contract negotiations with the prospect and liaise with Legal to ensure the contract meets Company requirements and is signed by both parties. .
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations



- Proven experience of complex software sales to large corporations;
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets - juggling multiple deals at once (deal sizes $50K - 500K), needs to be demonstrable.
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Own, manage, orchestrate, and execute a strategic sales plan for your territory;
- Have managed complex software sales cycle from start to finish;
- Ability to develop enterprise accounts using a land and expand approach;
- Has a highly developed skill set around solution selling.
- Has an understanding of the products and services the Company provides, the opportunities it has to grow its business and of the industry it operates in. Motivated and is interested in maintaining and developing this.
- Strong relationship builder establishes rapport with people easily and has effective active listening skills.
- Has the ability to understand a prospect's challenges and is able to work with internal stakeholders to create solution that meets their needs.
- Capable of being highly responsive were required, has a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to follow through.
- An effective communicator (both verbally and in writing) who engages with clients and is a confident and credible presenter.
- Has gravitas and is a brand ambassador who acts with integrity.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors
