The Technical Product Manager is responsible for defining market requirements and packaging the features into product releases. This position involves close interaction with development leads, product architects, product management, and key customers. A strong technical background is required. Job duties include gathering requirements from existing and potential customers as well as recent evaluators, maintaining the backlog, and monitoring the implementation of given features.

Job Responsibilities:

- Suggest workable solutions to development teams with consideration for product contract, positioning, and market requirements
- Monitor and analyze market trends
- Study competitors' services and products
- Explore new ways of improving existing services and products as a way of increasing profitability
- Provide input and feedback into development priorities
- Maintain product backlog
- Provide product training, relevant clinical papers, printed and electronic promotional material and the necessary technical expertise to sales team to enable them sell the product
- Identify and present creative and innovative product solutions
- Interface with development leads to make sure that product requirements are understood
- Answer product related inquiries

What a great candidate looks like:

- Technical background with some programming skills including web development
- Able to work with business and development teams to architect a solution
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to lead multiple ongoing projects
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%
