The primary focus of this role is to support the customer by responding to help inquiries and taking on related tasks. This is an ideal role for someone comfortable working in an independent, remote setting as an active member of our team. We look for teammates who take initiative and exemplify empathy, support, and flexibility. If you're an experienced administrative assistant or customer service professional and are technologically savvy with a proactive, helpful, can-do attitude, we're interested in hearing from you!

Responsibilities

- Perform chat-based customer support remotely
- Provide support to colleagues and coordinate schedules to ensure appropriate platform coverage
- Identify platform bugs and escalate appropriately
- Provide software engineering team feedback on user interface of software
- Perform data entry and analysis as required
- Create reports, sharing qualitative and quantitative insights to greater team
- Other operational and administrative duties as needed based on business needs, bandwidth, and customer demands
- We are looking for someone eager to grow into more responsibilities in team organization, scheduling, and further logistical support

Requirements

- High school diploma
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to pass background check
- Comfortable with technologyAbility to work a weekend schedule
- Ability to work remotely from PC/Mac computer

Nice to have

- Higher education, especially in communication/writing-intensive majors
- Experience with mortgages or notarization preferred
- Experience creating reports preferred

Compensation

- $10/hr
- Training provided in customer support applications, best practices
