The Role

We are looking for a VP of Sales to join our senior management team and build the Sales organization. Specifically, we seek a process-driven manager, builder, and leader who has a demonstrated track record in taking a SaaS startup from the ground floor to scale ($1M to $10M+ ARR).

You'll be responsible for setting sales strategy and hiring, training, leading and managing the sales team. You will put together systems and processes as you crystallize the sales playbook, and you will structure and lead the team, developing them through continual direct feedback, coaching, and mentoring. You will also work with the executive team and product managers to identify valuable features and product enhancements based on customer input, and help shape the company's strategy and directions.

As a member of the management team you will have a huge impact on the company's growth, revenues and product direction.

About You

You have a demonstrated track record of success in high-growth environments and building out high-performing SaaS sales organizations.

You have a strong appreciation for building, driving, and delivering a repeatable sales process, detail-oriented standards, and a culture of accountability with a focus on results. You are a strong sales leader and developer of sales talent, with a proven track record in developing and driving high-quality customer relationships. You are a closer and will roll up your sleeves for major deals. You are excited by what we do and are ready to build upon the enthusiasm of our customer base.

Requirements

- You have 6-10 years experience in B2B software sales and account management, demonstrating successful sales growth and increasing levels of responsibility.
- You are a Player/Coach who sets actionable priorities and unites both the team and the broader organization.
- You have the highest level team-building and mentoring skills. People must absolutely love working for, with and near you.
- You understand healthy conflict and are able to deliver tough messages to members of your team and colleagues on a real-time basis.
- You are a data-driven leader with a healthy respect for the use of both financial and CRM metrics to identify areas of improvement.
- You are a strategic thinker with a keen ability to make recommendations to move the business forward.
- You have success in regularly meeting and exceeding quota
