The Role:
Over the last five years, we have made it our goal to become the largest independent affiliate agency in the U.S. We achieved that goal in 2016 and we are continuing to grow rapidly as more clients across more industries understand the significant difference we can make for their businesses. Growth means that we need a continuing pipeline of top talent ready to serve our exciting new clients. Supporting the Director of Talent and Development, the Talent Acquisition Manager will hold a critical role, enabling us to grow by sourcing, assessing, and signing new teammates along a process he/she manages and continually refines.

The ideal candidate will have at least a five-year recruiting track record that aligns to all of these values. This person will have a history of owning it, assuming personal responsibility for a recruiting process that delivers what the company really needs, not just meeting quotas. She/he will also have a history of embracing relationships within a firm and across a wide network of potential recruits and referral sources. And this person will have demonstrated the desire to Excel & Improve by consistently evaluating refinements to the recruiting process showing a passion for continued learning.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be on point for adding talent for all of Acceleration Partners' needs, both client facing and within the corporate development group that supports the firm, in the US as well as new international markets we are entering. Creative sourcing strategy will be key, as we need to look beyond the pool of people who have experience in our industry. As both high client service standards and a strong, cohesive culture are non-negotiable for us, our recruiting process is demanding and highly interactive with our client service team. This role will require expert management of the entire recruitment process, coordinating internal team members as well as coaching and engaging candidates. Your Top 5 Job Responsibilities:

1. Recruiting Strategy Development and Execution: Responsible for inbound recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies to fill open positions both domestically and internationally. Targets include 30-40+ new hires in the next 12 calendar months with an average time to fill of 60 days or less as the sole recruiter.
2. Candidate Process Management and Execution: Candidate interviewing and pipeline management, ATS (Greenhouse) management, and consistent process improvement. Responsibilities also include interviewer training to create consistency and maintain standards across interviewers, facilitation of efficient, effective internal hiring decision committee meetings ensuring that all facets of a candidate have been considered, and manage any outside vendors as needed.
3. Maintenance and Full-Impact use of Recruiting Metrics: Creation and review of all recruiting metrics on a consistent basis and the ability to share findings, take action, and/or escalate issues based on findings.
4. Employer Branding: Responsible for sharing, monitoring and consistently evaluating our employer brand and careers page and working with our internal marketing team on external communications.
5. Ensuring an Exceptional Candidate Experience: Above all else ensuring a smooth and pleasant process for all of our candidates.

What Success Looks Like:
By Three Months: You have ramped up to full day-to-day ownership of the AP recruiting process, managing the routine as well as the occasional surprise and unusual request. You have developed strong initial internal relationships with hiring managers; you have gained their trust and you have become their go-to recruiting expert.

First Six Months: You own the forward-looking talent acquisition strategy for AP and are actively debating next stage evolution based on analysis of your data and ongoing research on industry best practices.

First Twelve Months: Acceleration Partners has a solid pipeline of candidates, yielding deep pools of high quality talent for the roles we fill continuously; some of these candidates come from new sources you have developed. You have made improvements to the process, which is running smoothly and efficiently, with high internal and candidate satisfaction. Our talent brand is stronger than ever, and our new hires have at least an 85% success rate at the one year mark.

Location:
The Talent Acquisition Manager is a work from home position, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners. This structure is central to our culture and our vision to change the work/life paradigm. Ideal candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance of one of our key hub regions: Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, or Denver.

Some travel is required for internal meetings, conferences, etc.
