At Trilogy Education Services, we're creating innovative programs to train new audiences for careers in the digital economy. We're developing a new program in UI-UX and are seeking experienced individuals to join our team. If you have extensive experience in UX/UI design/ Digital Product Design/ with knowledge for front-end engineering then we want to speak with you!

Skills & requirements

Who You Are:

- Someone with at least 4-5 years of UX/UI design (or equivalent) with some front-end engineering skills. We are looking for individuals unafraid to be thought-leaders in their field.
- Someone with at least 1 year of teaching / workshop / lecturing experience.
- Someone who is always "creating." This job is all about thinking on your feet and spinning quick and fun activities to demonstrate key concepts. You need to be someone who can dream up a proof of concept idea, pull out a sketchbook, and get to creating! Building prototypes, testing with users, and delivering on ideas.
- Someone who possesses strong writing and communication skills. We write a LOT on our team. If you're someone who has always wanted to write a textbook on design, UI, or front-end development -- then we may be the place for you.
- Someone who is a lot of fun! We want learning UX/UI to be exciting, engaging, and super fun. Imagine an design class that feels like a Disney movie. We need skilled knowledge, creative people to make this a reality.
- Someone who has a background in:

- - Information Architecture, Graphic Design, User Interface Design, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, and/or content strategy.
- - Versed in Design Thinking methodologies, Agile Development processes, and project management.
- - Knowledgeable in higher education teaching, classroom content production, and classroom management experience.
- - Skilled in the Development of lectures, syllabi, classroom activities, homework, and lesson plans.
- - Experience in designing UI for responsive websites, mobile applications, and software as a service (SaaS) platforms.
- - Proficient in HTML & CSS markup; capable of writing clean, semantic, valid markup and modular, cascading, reusable CSS.
- - Knowledge of cutting-edge web design capabilities, and HTML5/CSS3.
- - Expert in Wireframeing, paper-prototyping, and clickable prototypes.
- - Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign), Sketch, Google Docs, and keynote / powerpoint.
- - Skilled with prototyping tools: Invision, Craft by Invision, XD (other emerging prototyping tools - Axure, omnigraffle, UXpin, Principle for mac, etc.)
- - Knowledgeable in Github version control and markdown.

What You Will Do:

- Help to architect the UX/UI curriculum content for the emerging UX/UI bootcamp program along with our team of Curriculum Designers & Engineers.
- Write detailed lesson plans to be taught in classrooms across the country.
- Create visual diagrams and annotations to break down abstract technical concepts.
- Create project ideas and homework assignments for students to master key concepts in design and software skills.
- Infuse empathy, support, and encouragement into all educational materials you create.
- Work 10-20 hours per week depending on need.
