The Job

We are seeking a Director of Business Development to help drive the continued success of our strategic and go-to-market partnerships with telephony carriers. You would work closely with the CEO, VP of Business Development, and other key internal & external stakeholders to develop and execute strategies and partnerships that drive revenue through indirect sales channels and business partners. You should be a visionary thought leader and possess the ability to establish strategic direction, develop and flawlessly execute on new revenue and business opportunities, including having direct responsibility for building out partner channels for existing and new fraud/authentication products.


- Identify and manage new strategic partnership opportunities with telephony carriers
- Structure, negotiate and close partnerships in order to meet or exceed objectives
- Establish and nurture relationships with key partners at every level
- Work with various divisions (including Research/Products, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Legal) to gain support for key initiatives and deals
- Assist in the development of pricing, product and market strategies
- Develop a clear, concise and actionable Channel Partner strategy plan
- Work closely with sales teams to deliver quarterly and annual sales targets

Who You Are

- You have the desire and passion necessary to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization
- You have experience selling to and through carrier networks
- Charismatic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You possess a solid understanding of the security and authentication technologies
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding objectives
- You are able to structure and execute complex strategic partnerships that drive substantial revenues
- You have demonstrated successful selling, business development, executive level influence, and negotiation
- You are a self-starter who can operate with minimal oversight


- Deep knowledge of the security and/or carrier network ecosystem and senior contacts at the key players
- Expertise with working with both premise and cloud-based technologies and business models
- Expertise in strategic partnership structures, contract negotiation, and deal closing
- Success closing partner deals of $5M+ in first-year revenues
- Several years of strong experience working on technology licensing, enterprise sales, with security and/or carrier network technologies
- 8+ years business development or similar experience
- BA/BS required, MBA preferred
