Must be available to work out of our office in Minneapolis, MN one day per week. Local candidates only.


Our website

- Continually optimize our website both in terms of content, messaging and conversions.
- Track analytics and help us grow our traffic.
- Assist in the creation and management of SEO and SEM campaigns.
- Assist with social media management and the creation of ad campaigns.

Client websites

- Learn conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices if not already familiar. We provide in-depth training.
- Assist in providing analytics consultation, CRO, SEO and SEM consulting and services to our clients.
- Stay current and further develop knowledge in user experience as it pertains to website design/development and CRO.

Our brand, strategy & messaging

- Be a champion for our brand and its positioning and development, as well as our evolving competitive edge in the marketplace.
- Oversee outbound messaging at a high level, including outbound email campaigns.

Proposals, presentations and competitive strategy

- Assist in proposal and presentation preparation as needed. We do have a person whose primary responsibility this is, but you would help ensure our messaging and overall quality is consistent and competitive, as well as serve as a backup as needed.
- Attend presentations and prospective client pitches.
- Contribute to company-wide strategy and management meetings.

Perform other related duties as assigned - we are still a relatively small company.


Education - A Marketing degree or similar is preferred but not required with commensurate experience.

Specialized Knowledge - Conversion rate optimization experience is preferred but not required - we will teach. Analytics, SEO & SEM experience is desired. Sufficient experience with the web, basic knowledge of how websites are designed and built, and digital marketing experience required.

Skills - Ability to think and act creatively as well as strategically.

Abilities - Excellent time management. Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in written form. Ability to hone and clarify broad or unclear client requests into appropriate marketing solutions.

Personal Characteristics - Effective leader, careful listener, the ability to function effectively in an interrupt-driven work environment.

Experience - 3-5 years desired.


Contract-to-hire. Base salary commensurate with experience.
