We are looking for a sales professional who has experience selling into magazine publishers who will cultivate relationships, travel to industry functions, visit face to face with prospects and be a thought leader in an dynamically changing industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify and create new qualified opportunities
- Meet/exceed daily, weekly and monthly critical sales activity goals
- Engage with potential customers via telephone, video and in person
- Profile potential accounts and overcome prospect objections to generate quality opportunities
- Collaborate with Chief Revenue Officer and product team on sales cycle and feedback
- Conduct business dealings in a professional and proactive manner
- Become a trusted resource for internal and external contacts

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solution sets
- Four-year degree (BA/BS) or equivalent REQUIRED
- 3-5 years of applicable sales experience, preferably in the magazine publishing industry
- Applicable sales experience and presentation skills
- Comfortable conversing with and influencing high level decision makers
- Strong interpersonal skills and very proficient in written and verbal communication
- Excellent time management skills
- Quick learner who is self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Able to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment and adaptive to change
- Willing to travel 30-50%
- 2+ years business experience, in technical or marketing sector a huge plus
