IWS is seeking a full‐time Technical Business Analyst. This position will work with our implementation team to link our clients' business objectives to our development efforts. You will play a critical role ensuring the successful completion of new software features. You will gain knowledge of property/casualty insurance and technology. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, good abstract reasoning skills, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Clearly define and articulate business requirements on behalf of the client.
- Define success conditions for our development team.
- Facilitate communication between members of our development team to ensure that business needs are being met.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of current client business practices and needs.
- Provide regular communication to the client about project progress.
- Develop relationships with vendor partners to ensure proper utilization of their services.

Skills and Requirements

- Previous experience in Business, Systems Analysis, or Quality Assurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Superior analytical, organizational and research abilities.
- High level of initiative and ability to work in a team environment.
- Professional demeanor in stressful situations.
- High competence with technology.
- Familiarity with any web development technology is a plus.
