The job:
As Retail Excellence Consultant you will be the expert our customers rely on to make crucial decisions regarding the enterprise implementation of our product, setting them up for long term success with Tulip from the early stages of our engagement. Your wealth of experience and network partners in the retail landscape will empower you to build trust and advise our customers on best practices while maintaining a strong retail presence. A member of the Retail Excellence team, you will work closely with SI, Account executives, Marketing, and Product teams before handing off to a Customer Success Manager for long term care.

You are known as an expert in your field; you know what will impact each business vertical, and can bring teams together across functions to accomplish those goals. You are analytical, a team player, and have experiencing coaching teams to improve their operational processes. You are not afraid to be in the spotlight and tell the world why Tulip is the future of retail.

What you do:

- Develop business opportunities and plans based on discussion and input from sales team leads to maximize customer success ability to drive adoption
- Participate in promotional activities and speaking engagements to promote tulips brand awareness and to drive Tulip's opportunities in industry
- Analyze and define the areas of retail coverage that lead to the best returns for improved solution deployment and higher sales
- Penetrate clients Retail and Merchandising Operations organizations to win support and gain partnerships
- Help support retail enhancement requests from Customer Success teams by providing industry insights and case studies
- Drive product innovation through routinely updating industry best practices and finding ways to further enhance Tulip's application suite
- Monitor sales opportunities and align with sales team leads on actions to supplement normal call procedures to address gaps and opportunities
- Work with product team consulting on future enhancement tracks for product suite creating products to fill gaps in market offering

Your skills:

- 10+ years experience in retail vertical
- Experience working with technology and driving operational insights
- Proven knowledge of multiple retailer strategies and objectives
- Knowledge of customer strategy and key levers as well as competitors
- Detailed knowledge of clienteling and premium fashion engagement
