December Work At Home Questions.

Early last month we launched our monthly question and answer segment and the response was tremendous. It seems that the work at home industry leaves for many questions, especially with all the scams there are online which target people looking for jobs they can do from home. Over the past few weeks I’ve been busy trying to get all your questions answered via all the videos I’ve been sharing. Were these videos helpful? (leave your response below)

Last month we focused on the job application process, so this month we’d like to target the “follow up”. This is after you’ve sent in your job application to the potential employer. Should you have any questions about how you should follow up after sending out your resume  and cover letter to an employer, post it in the comments section below. Remember, this is also open to any general work at home question you may have as well, so don’t be shy! Let our years of experience help guide you to a career of your dreams.

    I would like to know if anyone has any info on getting a text chat operator position, I never see them advertised anywhere and I don’t even know what companies hire for a position like that.

    I, too, would love to have a Chat Customer Care position, but also would be open to virtual call center positions. I have poor health currently and my other job will be releasing me (it’s a cable company call center) to to my infirmities, so I am most interested in getting a work at home customer service position that I can work my 8 hours 5 days a week at and not be exposed to the viruses and other ailments that tend to run rampant in standard call centers.

    Also, I welcome any chat or friend requests from fellow customer service job seekers. There is power in numbers and maybe we can find ways to help each other out by networking.

    i have been searching for something for sometimes but have not yet been successful. am not giving up hope of one day finding something for a single mum in Kenya who has basic computer skills but very hardworking given a chance.

    Thanks for keeping me updated on the newest telecommuting jobs available. So far, I’ve found two prospects through your announcements. However, there’s a concern that I want to consult with you as regards application follow ups. I did a follow up to one of the employers 5 days after I’ve emailed them my application and the other requirements. To date, however, I haven’t heard anything from them. Do you think I should take the absence of a reply as a “No”? I’ve submitted to them my application last December 23.

    I am grateful for companies like Genuine Jobs. I am on a search for a fulltime position working from my home. My question is, whenever I open up my email from Genuine Jobs, it lists the “Position for the day.” However, when I go to the Genuine Jobs website, I cannot find that position that is featured in the email. Can anyone from Customer Care explain why that is?
