How to find free time to work when you work from home and have kids.

Working from home does have it’s benefits, but one thing any mom who works from home (or dad) will tell you is that finding time to work while the children are home, can be difficult. Over the last 12 years I’ve had to deal with our daughters being home during every school break, especially the two long months they get off for summer. If I didn’t have a plan in place during these breaks, I don’t know how I would cope or get any real work accomplished. In this episode of the Work from home Minute, I’ll share a couple tips I use to remain productive in my home office, while still enjoying the time our girls are home from school.

Overall I would never trade my work at home job for a traditional 9 to 5 one, even though it can be testing at times. The key is finding what works for you and educating the people around you about your schedule and work habits.
