Work From Home To Save Money And Ease Congestion.

It’s about time the concept of working from home is a more readily available option for today’s work force. I read this morning that on the island of Bermuda the government is considering having a portion of their employees work from home in an effort to save money and ease congestion in the capital city, where most civil servants tend to work. The work from home idea is being welcomed by environmentalists and even the union representative for the workers see this as a step forward.

I’ve been making a living for the past 10 years with computers online and I didn’t even own a cell phone. After-all I work from home so if anyone ever wanted to get hold of me they could either email or phone me on my land line. Whenever we were out, either Caron or one of our girls would have their cell phone with them, in the …

How do you prepare for “working” while on the road?

This means preparing myself for work while traveling, since I plan on taking full advantage of this work from home gig. I work from home, so there’s no reason why I can’t work from someone elses home. After-all we’ll be staying at my sister’s place and not only does she have 100% uptime wireless connection (faster speed than what I work with currently), her fiance said it was ok to work on his …

- Consider the experience you do have, whether it’s work or life related. Chances are you know how to do SOMETHING, even if you haven’t done it in a job capacity. See if you can find jobs that would use the knowledge you have, or at least touch on them in some way.
- Aim for “easier” jobs to begin with, like outbound telemarketing. …
