Seeking an experienced political reporter and/or editor to edit our staff blog, for the months of August and September. The blog editor will edit and publish all blog posts (around 20 per day) and work with our team of reporters to shape coverage on the blog, where the majority of the site’s original content appears. The blog editor will also be encouraged to write two to three blog posts per day on political news. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional reporting and editing experience, as well as sound news judgment and the ability to handle large amounts of copy quickly and efficiently.

While we would prefer that our blog editor spend most of the work week in the office, we are open to candidates who would work from home. Pay is competitive, and the position affords some downtime to work on other projects.
