Top 10 Work At Home Jobs.

1 May 2012 3 Comments

If you were to guess what the top work at home jobs are, what would you think? The internet would have us believe it would be data entry or some sort of crafting job. After-all, those are the ads we’re bombarded with as we make our way through the difficult task of finding the perfect work at home job. Over the years I’ve seen the rise of quality programming and freelance writing jobs, but I too was surprised when I took a peek at the results of a recent survey.

So what are the top 10 fastest growing jobs online?

Back-office positions like business process outsourcing and data processing are among the fastest-growing online jobs, according to the new report published by Freelancer.com. The rankings are based on jobs that have seen the most growth since the last quarter of 2011.

The other work at home jobs in the top 10 include:

• PDF Converters and Editors
• Excel
• Data Processing
• Copy Typing
• Web Search
• Virtual Assistant
• Data Entry
• Article Submission
• Customer Support

The research also shows a significant increase in demand for mobile developers. App developing for both iPhone and Android devices rose more than 25 percent.

So there’s data processing and data entry in the top ten work at home jobs list, so I guess our assumption at first wasn’t too far off. What’s surprising is the fact that freelance writing, editing and graphic work is not better represented.
