Using Genuinejobs.com Part 4 – Understanding the secondary job search tool.

20 June 2009 No Comment

In the previous tutorials we’ve looked at several areas of the new website and how to best use each tool provided to enhance your job search. Today we’ll take a closer look at another key career tool, the secondary job search option. I’ll first go though the steps here and then in the video below we’ll just go through it all for a second time, since it may be easier to follow with the video’s assistance.

After you’ve landed on the main job listing page, click on any of the job titles you see. When that page loads move to the very bottom of the page, where you’ll see “MORE VACANT JOBS”. Here you’ll find a brief explanation on how to use this feature and the actual input box where you’ll type in the type of job you’re looking for. It’s pretty straight forward and as I mentioned in the video, it’s powered by Google… we all know how powerful Google is.
