The IT administrator is responsible for supporting and administering a secure and flexible IT environment for NGHN product development, testing, and deployment. The IT administrator will provide first line support for NGHN staff and customers to ensure the best use of IT resources. The IT administrator will also support the NGHN customers with installation and configuration of NGHN products and services to ensure proper data processing and transfer for reporting systems. The IT administrator will also assist the IT manager with ensuring high performance and availability of all critical IT systems including applications and databases.
The elements of the NGHN IT infrastructure include MS SQL Servers, co-location facility, Citrix, VMware, virtual and remote computing, MS Windows, Storage Area Networks, enterprise backup management, virus and spam protections. Major application systems include Citrix desktop, NextGen practice management system and electronic medical records system, custom developed data processing and reporting systems, MS Exchange, FTP server, and Blackberry Enterprise Server. Our users connect to the NGHN IT infrastructure remotely across the country.
