Very insightful. Years ago, when I went to the final interview for the first job I landed after graduation, I was a nervous wreck when I learned that it was a panel interview. There were two other applicants with me at the head of the table, while the interviewing committee from the firm sat opposite us. The woman seated beside me was leaning back into her chair -- almost slumped into it. It not only distracted me -- since I could see her leg jiggling from my peripheral vision -- but I guess it also caught the committee's interest, albeit in a negative way.
